Dr. Pottorff is an Associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He earned his DMD degree at the Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in Edwardsville, Illinois in 1998. His postgraduate implant training was completed in 2000 through the American Academy of Implant Dentists in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Pottorff’s professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the Northwest Suburban Study club, McHenry County Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Academy of Implant Dentists.

He practiced in Oakbrook and served the surrounding communities for 12 years before relocating his practice to Algonquin in February 2010. Dr. Pottorff and his wife Carrie both have family ties to the community and decided McHenry County is where they wanted to raise their family. Dr. Pottorff is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fishing every chance he can.
